Support our work

The Holly Lodge Centre depends on support from many individuals, trusts and similar organisations. To maintain our space and deliver an extensive range of workshops and activities, we have the support of over 80 volunteers and a receive a range of individual donations and grants. Without this assistance the Centre would not exist.

Being a volunteer at The Holly Lodge Centre can be immensely rewarding and fun.

Ways you can support us

Donate

The Holly Lodge Centre exists thanks to the generous support of our donors and supporters, and the enthusiasm of our volunteers. You can help us give our visitors, both young and old, a unique educational experience.

We want our beneficiaries to have the best experience they can, leaving them enthusiastic about learning and thinking about subjects in a different way. It should also be an opportunity to have fun! We receive no Government funding so are dependent on supporters like you to help us maintain and improve this service.

You may want to make a one-time donation to the Centre or a regular donation, which can either be monthly, quarterly or annually.

Volunteer

Our volunteers are at the heart of our charity and are involved in every aspect of the work that we do. Volunteer roles range from helping to organise our fundraising events, looking after our garden or nature trail or helping us to deliver the education workshops. If you would be interested in volunteering, please do get in touch.

Current volunteer opportunities:

Maintenance volunteer – Thursday mornings, Autumn start date to help look after our garden and nature trail.

Events volunteers – 2 x individuals to support a range of fundraising events throughout the year.

Choose us as your local cause

The Holly Lodge Centre is part of the Co-op Local Community Fund. If you’re a Co-op member (or would like to become one), you can choose us as your local cause.

Every time you buy selected Co-op branded products and services, 2p for every pound spent goes to you and 2p goes to the Holly Lodge Centre to help us maintain our nature trail. Our goal is to raise £1,000 through the generous support of Co-op members.
