Participants will enjoy a session exploring and handling wonders of the past! We will look at and handle a wide selection of interesting Victorian artefacts in the relaxing and calm environment of our Victorian classroom. They will be supported by our volunteers who love to converse about memories that our guest might share.
The session will end with tea and cake.
The centre, classroom and toilets are all accessible for wheelchair users.
This workshop is suitable for groups of elderly people and those living with dementia.
A Victorian Objects' Workshop had everyone reminiscing about childhood and all the different equipment we used like the stone hot water bottles. However, it was the fans that gave us the most fun as we learnt how to make a signal with a fan to your suitor!
