Our Summer kicked off with over 300 children joining us for fun in the sun learning about invertebrates.

The Holly Lodge Centre headed out into the Isabella Plantation and Roehampton Gate Garden for 3 days at the end of July to run free drop in activities for children. Joining us once again was the fantastic Mission Invertebrate team with their amazing new Bugmobile, wonderful storyteller, Olivia Armstrong and Friends of Richmond Park.

It was lovely to see so many families enjoying the sunshine and learning about the importance of invertebrates in Richmond Park - through crafts, sensory activities, planting seeds, stories and real bugs!

Thank you to our fantastic team of volunteers who braved the 32 degree heat!

The Bugmobile continues to tour the Royal Parks this summer and dates can be found here.
